PLASTA gets BRC certificate
Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance has done a full audit and PLASTA has recently been awarded the British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification ensuring the compliance with the most demanding standards in consumer product.
With the strong commitment of the management team and supported by a investment plan in its production site in Vilnius, Lithuania, BRC Consumer Product certification was achieved. The dedicated project manager was supported both by an internal core team and external parties such as Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. As a team they accomplished the required changes and focused on challenges like a gap analysis, new standard operating procedures, potential hazards and risks to attain the accreditation. Company has managed to gain the „A-level“ – the highest level – evaluation. This certification enables PLASTA to expand and further develop its business into retail markets all over the world.
BRC certification is one the most widely used models for retailers and hypermarkets to qualify their product suppliers and whose goal is to assure that these ones comply with certain requirements that guarantee the health standards and the highest safety of its food, providing also a certification models for producers of food contact packaging material.
With this certification, PLASTA highlights its total commitment to create safe recycled plastic products and with the highest quality, complying with the legal and customer requirements as well as taking care of environment.
