Recycling

Polyethylene – the most commonly used plastic, widely used both at home and in various types of industries. Currently, polyethylene is popular and unchangeable due to its versatility and wide utilization potential. Polyethylene can be used to produce bags, various packages, plastic bags, films and many other products that make simple and quick solutions in the home or in the industry.
However, there is also a negative aspect of polyethylene abundance. The massive increase in plastic products results in a rapid increase in environmental pollution. Whenever polyethylene comes to the landfill it does not disintegrate for a very long period of time, causing increasing pollution of air, water and land, affecting ecosystems and human health, leading to increasing climate change.
PLASTA contributes significantly to reducing environmental pollution and cherishing environmental resources by addressing the problem in its essence. Polyethylene recycling is the transformation of used polyethylene products into other useful plastic products by employing very advanced production processes. We produce more than 25 thousand tons of various plastic products per year from recycled and own-produced secondary raw materials. By saving on natural resources and energy and by following the waste-free production principle, we ensure that recycling of polyethylene is a quality process, which preserves environmental resources, and that only the best and most durable plastic products reach the store shelves.
PLASTA specializes in the production of LDPE granules – which are currently widely used in home technologies. The granulate is produced from recycled heavily contaminated used plastic bands and film waste. Almost 98% of PLASTA products are made from raw materials, which were produced using its own modern processing equipment (Erema, Herbold), 8 washing lines and 5 granulators.
